Allegoria

Das Ritual, das sich wie ein Raum im Vakuum anfühlt, losgelöst von allem, in dem ich Platz habe, mir selbst zu begegnen.

Die Wertschätzung als dieses sensible und sehr persönliche Verhältnis in der Bindung, die ich mit einem Kleidungsstück eingehe.

Meine Kollektion basiert auf der Auseinandersetzung mit dem Ritual, der Rolle der Kleidung darin und der Wertschätzung, welche daraus entsteht. Ritualkleidung wie Taufkleid, Brautkleid oder Talar lese ich als Gegenpole zu unserem heutigen unbedachten Modekonsum. Sie stehen für mich für Beständigkeit und Langlebigkeit. Allegoria ist meine Form der Verbildlichung von Empfindungen und Werten, die ich mir in der Mode wünsche.

Appreciation as this emotional and very personal relationship in the commitment with which I deal with a piece of clothing

My collection is based on a discussion regarding ritual, the role of clothing in it and the appreciation which results from it. I see ritual clothing like baptismal robes, wedding dresses or academic gowns as the antithesis of our current heedless fashion consumption. For me, they stand for stability and endurance. Allegoria is my way of making the feelings and values which I want for fashion visible.
