What inspires you?
What’s happening at the moment. So right now would be answering these questions and the light outside.

Whom do you admire?
Many people alive and dead. At this moment the person whose idea it was to do this, get some answers from graduating students. It’s not inventing the wheel but it’s a nice detail for later.

Why did you choose to study Art?
In Basel because the opportunity presented itself and seemed intriguing. I suppose I’ve been studying art my whole life.

What made you choose the FHNW Academy of Art and Design?
They had accepted my portfolio and offered me the opportunity to come. I’ve never lived outside of New York. Going to school let alone art school in a small infamous town in Europe sounded like a song.

If you had to describe your time here in one sentence, what would you say?
My time here has been special. It didn’t have to be this way for my life to go but it did and I’m so excited finding out why.

What is your work as an artist all about?
I think it’s about experiences. Shared and communicated.

Where can one find you and your work?
Me and my work can be in multiple cities. I have a lot of work in Basel right now. I am sort of on Europe at the moment. I post a lot instagram and quite enjoy it. My website is always updating.

Is there someone or something that made Basel a special city for you?
Meeting all of the people I did. Getting to know the people I did. Having conversations and sharing the space was all very special for me.

What’s the title of your degree thesis?
I think it’s called Brad Pitt in Fight Club Changed My Life. I say think, because I don’t know.

What’s the thesis about?
It’s about me. Or almost who is the person that all of these people represent? It’s a self portrait.

Why did you choose this specific topic?
It makes most sense right now. I’ve been developing the work over a few years and without planning it to be its evolved to be a completed work now and feels right. I also think to debut the ten piece work in its entirety is appropriate for the caliber of ‘Master Thesis show.’ It feels like a nice introduction to a prestigious space. Like this is me and my people.

What are your plans after graduation?
The plan is to continue studying and realizing works.

Whoever life puts in front of me. You guys!
