Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Konzept der Normierung und seiner Verbindung zur Proportion, was zur Frage der Normalität in der Gestaltung geführt hat. Die Normalität als Eigenschaft wird versuchsweise als Abweichung und Steigerungsform beschrieben. Basierend auf den Erkenntnissen entstand ein skalierbares Konstruktionsprinzip für Flachovalrohre. Das Flachoval als Normteil dient als Ausgangslage für eine persönliche Abhandlung der Normalität am Beispiel einer Konstruktion.

This work deals with the concept of standardization and its relation to proportion, which has led to the question of normality in design. Normality as a property is described as forms of deviation and as a superlative state of matter. Based on the findings, a scalable design principle for flat oval tubes was developed. The flat oval as a norm part serves as a starting point for a personal discussion on normality shown on the example of a construction.
