Die Masterarbeit «Solidification of Foam» beschäftigt sich mit der Aktivität von Mikroorganismen, die wir mit blossem Auge nicht sehen können. Mikroorganismenkulturen sind überall um uns herum und auch in uns, aber wir können uns kaum vorstellen, was sie tun und wie sie aussehen. Die ungewöhnliche Mischung aus Mikroorganismen und Porzellan namens «Fermentiertes Porzellan» zeigt ihre Aktivität in dauerhaftem, greifbarem Material durch Verfestigung.

The master thesis «Solidification of Foam» deals with the activity of microorganisms, which we can’t see by the naked eye. Microorganism cultures are all around us and in us as well, but we can hardly imagine what they do and how they look like. The unusual mixture of microorganisms and porcelain named «Fermented Porcelain» displays their activity in lasting, tangible material by solidification.
