In my collection, undulating, thrilling and calming fabrics challenge the human silhouette.
The body is seen as an imperfect asymmetrical unit whose external form is not used as a model for the piece of clothing, but rather as an invitation to fabricate a new, estranged body profile.
Classical coat and shirt patterns undergo a distortion by systematically shifting proportions, seams and pockets as well as stratifying many layers which creates a subtle confusion.
Caricaturesque humour plays just as much of a role here as the seriousness of the search for new forms.
