“Pimp My Shirt” was created as part of my bachelor’s thesis. It is about sustainable branding of already worn clothes. Customers can upgrade their old clothes with unique custom designs (upcycling). The fact that the customer can choose the icons and place them where he wants, creates an added value that contributes to a longer wearing time of the clothes. Most of the foils used for printing are vegan and therefore also very sustainable.

At the Pop Ups you can expect good music, snacks and drinks, great people, and of course fresh designs! The first Pop Up took place on 24 June 2023 at the Sondershop in Basel. It was an amazing experience to see the people engaging with my project, choosing colors and designs, and me placing them on their garments. But for me the most beautiful thing about the Pop Up was to see the happy faces of the customers. It was the confirmation that it is useful. Through the visible joy of the customers, the clothes, which otherwise would have been sorted out, are worn more often. My goal has been reached. Stay tuned for the next Pop Up in Zurich!
