Forced Migration

Refugee Voices

We all know what the word “refugee” means. Everyone has heard at least a little information about them and almost everyone has their own picture of what refugees look like. But sometimes it may not match the reality. In my project, I explore the topic of modern realities in which forcibly displaced persons have to live.

“Refugee voices” is an online library which collects real-life stories of forcibly displaced people from Ukraine. Their experience of living abroad and the emotional part of being a refugee can be heard in the interviews. The voices of these people can help the viewer understand what modern refugees are going through. You will be able to hear about their real life and emotions, struggles and success as it is without processing.
