This Bachelor’s thesis shows the journey of the on becoming of amplified*, a music magazine and platform centering TINFA* queer BIPOC voices in the Swiss music industry. While navigating the field, I kept noticing structural gaps, especially for those working behind the scenes. What started as questions about access, visibility, and collective knowledge-sharing turned into a tangible project.

Throughout this process, I’ve learned through conversations, collaborations, and hands-on experiences, from tour managing to hosting panel talks. amplified* grew out of a shared need for a space that documents, gathers, and uplifts diverse experiences in music and culture. This work is both a reflection of that path and a proposal for collective publishing as a form of care and resistance.
