This Master’s thesis explores how limitations can become editorial strategies for digital publishing.

Drawing on permacomputing and low-tech practices, the thesis examines publishing as a relationship between tools, resources, formats, infrastructures, and readers. Through a garden-based framework, reduction, instability, maintenance, and reuse become part of the design process.

The project asks how digital publications can remain understandable, adaptable, and open to transformation while making their material and infrastructural conditions more visible.
