This Master’s thesis explores how writing can be reimagined beyond language through gesture, movement, and interaction. Combining analogue mark-making, Laban Movement Analysis, creative coding, and computer vision, the project investigates how the body can return as an active participant in producing visual information.

Through practice-based experiments and an interactive installation, bodily movement and movement qualities are translated into evolving visual traces.

Situated between graphic design, typography, interaction design, and digital art, the thesis proposes writing as an embodied and computational practice in which meaning emerges through movement, perception, and interaction.
