This Bachelor’s thesis explores how creative coding can be integrated into design practice. Using JavaScript classes as a structural foundation, a p5.js exploration builds a repertoire of handwritten code concepts, deliberately without AI. This restraint acts as a productive constraint: it sharpens understanding of the code and keeps the design process one’s own. Code becomes a design tool: modular, traceable, and independent of licensed software.
