Jeremy Palucce works with the goal to embody an idea that overcomes materiality and can therefore only be fully understood by human emotions. He is active in three fields of interest: The visual art world, the fashion world and the music world. Those worlds are perceived in the same three aspects, the visual, the musical and the emotional aspect. The exhibition shows a sound installation with adlibs from 15 musicians, 9 advertisement posters with spray-painted brand names on it and a video with the artist’s grandmother’s voice talking about love.

“FOR MY THESIS I WANT TO RESEARCH CODES, PRINCIPLES AND IDEAS OF A CULTURE THAT RAISED ME. IT IS ABOUT TODAY’S FORMS OF BEHAVIOR AND EXPRESSION, AS WELL AS PRINCIPLES AND IDEAS AND CODES THAT SHAPE THE CULTURE I LIVE IN. HIPHOP IS A CULTURE THAT IN AN IDEAL WAY LIVES FROM THE REFLECTION OF THE PRESENT AND IS THEREFORE, LIKE EVERYTHING HAPPENING IN THE WORLD, A WITNESS OF A CERTAIN MOMENT IN WORLD HISTORY.”
